De Sa Wary Of Baroka Threat
Platinum Stars coach Roger de Sa insists he will not take Baroka FC lightly in the Nedbank Cup clash, despite their poor form.
Baroka’s poor form has seen them drop to ninth spot, after spending most of the Absa Premiership season in the top three.
Dikwena will take on the Limpopo outfit, and De Sa believes a cup run could turn the relegation-threatened season around.
De Sa said in a statement, “Cups can turn your season around. We are going to give a couple of players rest but our priority is to win the game. We are definitely going to give it our best shot.
“Baroka made a name for themselves in this competition. Remember they knocked Kaizer Chiefs out some years ago.
“It’s a competition that they really enjoy. We know it’s going to be a difficult one. We want to go as far as we can. Our priority is to win.”
