Stuart Baxter confirmed the 27-year-old was pulled out of training after suffering what appeared to be a twisted ankle.
“Yes, Jali left training in what I believe is a twisted ankle, however, I will wait for a confirmation from our doctors to see what is the injury and to what extent it is,” Baxter told media at Bafana’s training session.
The former SuperSport United gaffer further noted that there was a calmer mood in the camp ahead of Friday night’s encounter.
“Things a lot calmer we worked on some of our defensive tactics today with all the players and tonight we have a team meeting with all the players which is great for our confidence,” he added.
