Malcom Denies Barcelona Exit Rumours

November 02, 2018

Barcelona forward, Malcom, insists that he has no intentions of leaving the club, despite reports claiming that his future with them was in doubt.

The 21-year-old Brazilian – who moved from Bordeaux to the Catalan giants in July this year for £36.5million – has played a total of 25 minutes in La Liga this season.

He also made his first start for the club in their 1-0 Copa del Rey win over Cultural Leonesa on Wednesday, 31 October, but was replaced with Arthur Melo after 80 minutes.

Despite his lack of minutes on the pitch, Malcom has denied wanting to exit from Ernesto Valverde’s side.

In a post uploaded to Instagram on Thursday, he wrote: “I came to Barcelona with many objectives, and those who know me know that I am a very determined person. I’m very happy with my development with every passing day.”

Malcom added: “My objective is to make my dreams come true … I’ll continue fighting for everything I desire in my career.”
