Ramagalela Named Player Of The Month

November 09, 2017

The Premier Soccer League has awarded Polokwane City forward Rodney Ramagalela the Player of the Month award for October.

The first award of the 2017/18 campaign went to Kaizer Chiefs’ Itumeleng Khune for the month of September after his three consecutive Man of the Match awards.

Ramagalela has now picked up the Player of the Month award after his impressive form for his side during the month of October.

Despite his fine form, Ramagalela was left out of the Bafana Bafana squad for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Senegal.

“For me, it is a motivation itself… I have to work harder than I did. I think that we should give the coach a chance to do his job and not choose for him which players he should bring to the team,” Ramagalela told the media.

“That will help us as South Africa to go forward. I will keep on supporting Bafana Bafana. I will even be at the stadium tomorrow (on Friday). I believe that the players who are in the team will do the job for the country.

“If I work hard, I think I will get my chance.”
