Dele Alli Signs New Deal with the Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Dele Alli, has signed a new long-term contract with the club.
In a statement posted on their website on Tuesday, the Spurs confirmed the news.
They said: “We are delighted to announce that Dele Alli has signed a new contract with the Club, which will run until 2024.”
The 22-year-old joined the Spurs in 2015 after a two-year spell with the Milton Keynes Dons. Since then, under manager Mauricio Pochettino, he has scored 48 goals in 153 competitive appearances for the club.
Alli has also been given high accolades, including been named the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Young Player of the Year and earning a spot in the PFA Team of the Year in each of his first two seasons with Tottenham Hotspur.
The young midfielder joins the likes of striker Harry Kane, defender Davinson Sanchez, and wingers Erik Lamela and Son Heung-min in signing long-term deals with the club.
