Terry Crews: “Hey, I apologise”

June 25, 2020

Terry Crews is taking responsibility for his previous mistakes and has apologised for not supporting Gabrielle Union following her revelations of racism on talent show, “America’s Got Talent”.

The 51-year-old actor previously claimed that his time on the popular reality series was completely contrary to Union’s experience as a former judge, stating that he had no negative experiences and praised the show for its diversity.

However, the 47-year-old actress claimed that the working environment was “toxic” and she witnessed “racist and misogynistic conduct” on set. She was subsequently fired after speaking out about her allegations of prejudice.

Recently, the “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor has admitted his bias over the show, and should recognise his own “male privilege” – notably when he was silent over Union’s allegations.

Crews said: “I was the wrong guy to ask about being on America’s Got Talent because I love it … when you’re wrong, you’ve got to just say, ‘Hey, I apologize, I’m sorry. Let me get back in here, and let’s do this right.”
