Usuthu Deny Celtic Three Points
AmaZulu struck late in the second half to earn themselves a point against Bloemfontein Celtic after drawing 1-1 at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Sunday.
It took a while for the game to get going as they both sides looked to find their rhythm in the opening 15 minutes.
Usuthu nearly took the lead on 23 minutes when Mhengi Cele sent a header just wide of the upright.
Celtic enjoyed more of the ball as the first half went on and they went close with a long-range effort after 30 minutes but Siyabonga Mbatha was alert to the effort.
Neither side could carve out a serious chance in the remaining stages of the half as they went into the break scoreless.
The first effort at goal in the second half arrived after 63 minutes as Thembela Sikhakhane sent a volley wide of the mark.
The deadlock was eventually broken in the 82nd minute thanks to a strike from Jacky Motshegwa.
However, the visitors managed to secure a point with four minutes left, with Cele firing past Patrick Tigyemb.
