Tottenham Set Record Price for Pedro Porro
Tottenham Hotspur have set a record-breaking premium price tag of €90 million for Pedro Porro as several European clubs circle around.
Should either Barcelona and Real Madrid meet this valuation, the 27-year-old Spanish international would become the most expensive right-back in football history, surpassing the €67 million Paris Saint-Germain paid Inter Milan for Achraf Hakimi in 2021.
Porro’s long-term future in London has come under scrutiny despite signing a contract extension through 2031 in June. Although he committed to Spurs under the belief they would build a competitive squad under Roberto De Zerbi, the club’s dry start through six English Premier League (EPL) matches has fueled speculation. Intermediaries acting for the player have reportedly contacted both La Liga giants to gauge interest for a potential 2027 transfer.
While Porro is understood to be receptive to returning to Spain, Tottenham hold a powerful position at the negotiating table and have no intention of selling below their offer. His current market value sits at €45 million. Unless Barca or Real make a major financial commitment, Spurs’ incredible asking price remains a stiff barrier to any prospective deal.
