Abdul Khoza is NOT Quitting “The Wife”
Fans of “The Wife” can calm down after Abdul Khoza assured them that he won’t be quitting the show.
On Thursday, 17 March, Khoza – who plays the colourful Nqoba Zulu on the popular telenovela – took to Instagram to seemingly announce his departure from the show.
“It’s been an amazing journey with you all on #TheWifeShowmax,” he wrote in the caption beneath a picture of his character. “Thank you to the entire cast and crew for embracing me to the fullest. I shall miss you all and wish you a greater journey ahead. You have inspired my career with this amazing show.”
The announcement – which came after Nqoba was shot by the Zulu brothers’ rivals, the Majolas, in episode 15 of season two – gave heartbroken fans all types of stress.
Luckily, the 34-year-old actor quickly clarified on Instagram that he was joking and he wasn’t going anywhere.
Referring to the Majolas, he wrote: “I’m sure this is the MAJOLA’S who ran to media [sic]. BUT NOW THAT I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION!! [sic] Uthi uMa ka NDUMISO ninga bona amabele enyokha [Ndumiso’s mother says that would never].”
No doubt fans are relieved at the news, but it’s safe to say that Khoza should save the scares for the show!
