AKA and Cassper Nyovest’s Feud Intensifies

Mzansi hip-hop icons Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and Cassper Nyovest allegedly came close to blows this weekend.

The two were spotted at the Konka Summer Tour event in Bloemfontein, Free State on Saturday, 8 October, where AKA delivered a scathing performance of “Composure”, a diss track directed at Nyovest.

According to reports, the pair came close to blows just after the set, before the security team was said to have intervened. Shaky camera footage posted to Twitter by a user named “DSG_015” shows the rappers squaring up with each other.

Nyovest has publicly challenged AKA to a fight in the ring several times already, with the “All Eyes On Me” artist dismissing him at each turn.  

In response to the tense evening, Nyovest took to Twitter the following day,  once again challenging his rival.

“All that trash talk would have been great to promote the fight. All your antics, f*** it, you can even perform ‘Composure’ when you walk out into the ring,” he said.

“Stop running, Kiernan, be that tough guy you claim you are and come see me in the ring. Let’s give the people a show! You started this.”
