Andile Jali’s Fate Lies in Sundowns’ Hands

Kaizer Chiefs’ desire to sign Andile Jali may come to fruition, if what his agent says is anything to go by!

Last month, Jali was reportedly in talks with the Glamour Boys about a prospective move. It’s unknown whether or not contract negotiations are ongoing, but it’s believed that in order for the deal to go through, the 32-year-old wants to keep his jersey number (15), which he wears during his Sundowns appearances.

According to the midfielder’s agent, Mike Makaab, his client’s status at Chloorkop is up in the air and so he has not been training with the club.

“Andile Jali is not at training at the moment,” Makaab explained in a recent interview. “He might return to the club soon, but the decision will be taken by the club.”

This tidbit comes after Jali allegedly arrived at Chloorkop in a drunken state during a training session two weeks ago.

His contract is due to end in June – will Sundowns give him a second chance, or will he be Chiefs-bound?
