Anna Faris Gets Hitched in Court

Anna Faris is officially off the market after getting married to cinematographer Michael Barrett.

Faris first met Barrett on the set of the 2018 film, “Overboard” – in February last year, she confirmed their engagement during an interview with James Corden.

On Wednesday, 21 July, the 44-year-old actress revealed on her podcast, “Anna Faris is Unqualified”, that her 51-year-old fiance is in fact her husband now.

She confirmed the news while speaking to a caller: “Yes, we eloped … I just blurted that out, but it just feels like I can’t say ‘fiance’ anymore … [The wedding] was awesome. It feels great. It was at a local courthouse up in Washington state. It was great.”

Media reports were more specific, saying that the couple recently got hitched courthouse-style on the San Juan Islands, just off the coast of Seattle.

Faris shares a seven-year-old son, Jack, with actor Chris Pratt, whom she divorced in 2018 after nine years of marriage.
