Arnold Schwarzenegger Sued Over Car Accident
A woman has launched a lawsuit against Arnold Schwarzenegger after both parties were involved in a multi-car collision last year.
On Wednesday, 15 November, the woman – who has been named as Cheryl Augustine – filed the legal papers against Schwarzenegger at the Los Angeles Superior Court in California.
Per the court documents, Augustine was left “permanently disabled” after the 76-year-old actor’s GMC Yukon SUV collided with her Toyota Prius on Sunset Boulevard and Allenford Avenue in January 2022.
“At said time and place,” the documents read, “defendants, and each of them, so negligently, wantonly, unlawfully, wrongfully and recklessly drove, operated, serviced, maintained, entrusted, repaired and managed said vehicle to cause said vehicle to collide with plaintiff’s vehicle, and to proximately cause the hereinafter described injuries and damages to the plaintiff.”
Because of her condition, Augustine claims she is no longer able to work. Additionally, she has accrued heavy medical and miscellaneous expenses.
As such, she is demanding “The Terminator” star to pay her over $25 000 in damages.
Schwarzenegger has yet to comment publicly on this matter.
