Bayern Munich Ready for Real Madrid’s Jude Bellingham

Bayern Munich coach, Thomas Tuchel, says that his team are ready to face off against Real Madrid’s secret weapon.

The German giants are hosting Los Blancos tonight, Tuesday 30 April, in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final clash at the Allianz Arena in Munich.

Speaking ahead of the match on Monday, 29 April, Tuchel singled out midfielder Jude Bellingham, who has made a significant impact since joining Real in June 2023 and is now regarded as one of the best footballers in the world.

“Jude has had an extraordinary development,” Tuchel commented about the 20-year-old Englishman. “Everyone who plays for Real Madrid … plays with the pressure to play for this club with the demands and expectations. He handles it like he has never done anything else before.

“He is very dangerous, very physical in his game and is an absolute key player.”

Nevertheless, Tuchel says Bayern will be ready for Bellingham: “He plays in a very offensive position, and we are well aware of it. We try to find solutions.”
