Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Court Drama Set for 2026

Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s escalating legal feud over the film “It Ends With Us” has been assigned a trial date of 9 March 2026 by a New York court.

The two actors, who both starred together in the 2024 silver screen adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s novel, have filed opposing lawsuits alleging misconduct, defamation and professional sabotage.

Lively has accused Baldoni of sexual harassment on set and orchestrating a smear campaign that harmed her reputation. Her claims include allegations that Baldoni’s public relations team manipulated social media to spread false narratives about her.

In response, Baldoni denies the allegations and has countersued for £320 million, accusing Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, of defamation and extortion.

Judge Lewis Liman plans to consolidate the lawsuits and will hold a pre-trial conference on 3 February 2025. Meanwhile, Lively has filed a separate deposition request in Texas directed at Jed Wallace, a crisis manager allegedly involved in spreading online disparagement.

Both sides accuse the other of using the media to sway public opinion, with Lively seeking a gag order against Baldoni’s legal team. Now a year away, the trial is expected to be a dramatic clash of accusations, evidence and reputational stakes.
