Britney Spears is NOT Reconciling With Her Dad

Britney Spears may be going through some divorce drama right now, but don’t count on her seeking out her estranged dad for a shoulder to cry on!

Amid her ongoing legal split from her husband of only 14 months, Sam Asghari, reports recently began circulating that Spears was planning to reconcile with her father, Jamie Spears, who is suffering from an infection as the result of a knee replacement surgery he had 16 years ago.

However, sources denied that the 41-year-old “Toxic” hitmaker is hoping to make amends with the 71-year-old Spears patriarch.

“It’s just not true,” one insider told a US tabloid on Wednesday, 23 August.

“Britney is on a healing journey, but a reconciliation with Jamie is not in the cards,” another insider divulged to the same outlet. 

Between 2008 and 2021, Mr Spears was responsible for a majority of his daughter’s $60-million estate, following her heavily publicised personal issues. In November 2021, she successfully filed court documents to remove him from the position, citing years of abuse.

As for the singer’s current support system, older brother Brian is said to be helping out, according to a third source: “He’s been staying over and helping her alongside a therapist.”
