Celine Dion Planning Vegas Comeback

Celine Dion is making her grand return to the stage!

The 56-year-old Canadian songstress is reportedly in the process of negotiating with Resorts World about staging a one-year residency in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Speaking to a US tabloid on Wednesday, 24 July, two sources claimed that Dion is looking forward to making her comeback, with potential shows aimed for later this year or early 2025.

“It’s basically a done deal. She’s doing it,” one source stated.

“This is all her,” the other source declared. “No one is pushing her to do it. She has a passion for getting back onstage, and she’s gonna do it.”

In October 2021, Dion called off her Vegas residency because of “severe” muscle spasms. A year later, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer revealed that she had been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, an auto-immune neurological disorder resulting in progressive muscle stiffness.

Here’s hoping that Dion makes a successful and fulfilling return to the stage!
