Chief to Strengthen Defence Next Season
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to sign a whole host of players before the next season commences.
Throughout the current 2022/2023 season, the Soweto outfit has been stuck in a defensive slump, having conceded 27 goals due to the vulnerability showcased by their back row.
Now, it appears that Chiefs have already signed a new goalkeeper, albeit at the expense of one of their own, namely Bruce Bvuma.
“I think the deal is already done between the two clubs,” a club insider recently divulged to a local media outlet. “They are just waiting for the end of the season so the player can start talking about personal terms.
“It was a difficult decision … but they know they have to let one go and Bruce [Bvuma] is the one who will be sacrificed. I don’t know what the final decision was, but from what I heard he could be part of the deal and go the other way when the new keeper comes.”
In addition to this new goalie, the Glamour Boys are looking to sign SuperSport United defender Thatayaone Ditlhokwe, Cape Town City midfielder Mduduzi Mdantsane and TS Galaxy defender Given Msimango.
