Chiefs Eye Polokwane Double to Build CAF Momentum

Kaizer Chiefs aim to conclude a victorious stint in Limpopo by securing a second win over Polokwane City this Saturday, 18 April.

Following a dominant 4-1 victory against Magesi FC, the Soweto giants remained in the province to prepare for their 24th match of the season at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Currently third in the standings with 45 points, the club is focused on a top-three finish to ensure qualification for continental competition. Confidence is high after Mduduzi Shabalala and Khanyisa Mayo helped secure their latest win, and another three points would further their climb up the table.

Tactical consistency is expected, with the team likely to utilise a 3-4-3 formation. Key to this strategy is striker Flavio Da Silva, who provided a solid lead in their previous outing.

With momentum on their side, the Amakhosi are determined to secure maximum points before the upcoming Soweto Derby against Orlando Pirates.
