Chiefs, Pirates Keen on TS Galaxy Skipper
Two of South Africa’s top football clubs have set their eyes on TS Galaxy skipper/centre-back, Given Msimango.
According to a club insider, Msimango – who has conceded 12 goals from 23 matches this season – has attracted interest from both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates.
“Chiefs and Pirates are both keen admirers of Given,” the insider recently divulged to a soccer outlet. “[Galaxy] is anticipating bids from clubs interested in the player as we approach the transfer window.”
At 25-years-old, Msimango has been instrumental on Galaxy’s defence line, so it’s difficult to imagine Galaxy selling him off. What’s more, he’s contracted to the club until June 2025.
However, he did indicate in a previous interview that he would be willing to “change the environment” if another outfit reached out to him
The transfer window is scheduled to take place on 1 July – will TS Galaxy hold onto Msimango, sell him or even send him out on loan? We’ll have the answer in less than four months!
