Chris Brown Allegedly Strikes Woman

Chris Brown is under investigation after being accused of physically assaulting a woman.

The incident allegedly took place last Friday, 18 June, at Brown’s San Fernando Valley home in Los Angeles, California, whereby the woman claimed he smacked the back of her head so hard that “part of her hair weave came out.”

Lizeth Lomeli, spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department, told a media outlet on Tuesday, 22 June: “The female victim advised she and the suspect argued, and the suspect struck her. A crime report for battery was completed.”

No arrests have been made yet, and the woman is said to have suffered no other injuries.

Brown denied the accusation in an Instagram Stories post with a cap emoji, which is slang for a lie.

The 32-year-old “Heat” hitmaker is no stranger to altercations: in 2009, he pleaded guilty to felony after beating his then-girlfriend, singer Rihanna. In 2016, he was arrested, and soon released, on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon after a woman told police that he threatened her with a gun.
