Cristiano Ronaldo Bares All in Explosive Interview

Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo has set the world of soccer on fire in a tell-all interview with Piers Morgan.

A summary of the interview was published by a well-known international newspaper on Sunday evening, 13 November, while Man United were in London, England, securing a 2-1 victory over Fulham.

The 37-year-old Portuguese star reportedly revealed that he has “no respect” for his team manager, Erik ten Hag, as “he doesn’t show respect for me.”

When Morgan questioned whether Ronaldo was beginning to feel as if he is being pushed out of the club, the footballer responded saying: “Yes, I feel betrayed, and I feel like some people don’t want me here, not only this year but last year too.”

The ongoing power play between Ronaldo and Ten Hag has been well-publicised, as the forward has been vocal about wanting to leave the club, but is struggling to receive an acceptable offer.

Sports pundit Kaveh Solhekol tweeted on Monday, 14 November, that both the Man United coach and his players are “extremely disappointed with the manner and timing of [the] interview” and “are now likely to consider all their options regarding Ronaldo.”

The full 90-minute-interview will be aired on Wednesday, 16 November, and Thursday, 17 November.
