DaBaby Hit With Bottles, Drinks at Rolling Loud

Five months after his controversial stint at a music festival in Florida, DaBaby appeared at the same festival over the weekend, though the audience were not exactly welcoming.

While performing at Rolling Loud in July, the rapper addressed the crowd, making insensitive comments about the LGBTQIA+ community and spreading misinformation about HIV/AIDS. After intense backlash – including being dropped from the line-ups of other music festivals – he eventually apologised.

But when DaBaby performed at Rolling Loud on Sunday, 12 December, the San Bernardino, California audience pelted him with drinks and water bottles.

One video clip from the event shows fans showering him with these objects before and after performing his hit song, “Rockstar”.

Despite the initial hostility, they began warming up to an unbothered DaBaby as he continued his performance. At one point, he even joined the enthusiastic crowd on the floor to perform “Suge”.

Guess only time will tell if and when DaBaby will be considered fully redeemed.
