Davido Postpones European Leg of Tour

Afrobeats singer Davido has announced that he will be postponing the European leg of his “Timeless” world tour until next year.

The 30-year-old Nigerian superstar – whose real name is David Adeleke – released a statement via Twitter on Monday, 11 September, saying that he was loving his tour so far and that ”the energy has been incredible.”

Adeleke went on to explain that he was passionate about giving his audience the best possible experience at his shows, then said: “So, with this in mind I’ve made the decision that after the show in Manchester, I will be moving my remaining European dates until Q1 2024.”

“The additional time allows us to sort out some of the production issues we have been experiencing and gives us time to improve and create a bigger and more immersive show,” he elaborated.

The “Blow My Mind” hitmaker began his global tour in July, and has since been on a whirlwind adventure, visiting North Africa and the United Kingdom before he heads off to Australia at the end of this month.

In Australia, Adeleke will also meet up with Arya Starr and Tems as they perform at the renowned “Promiseland” festival alongside American hip-hop icon, Lauryn Hill.
