EPL Returns After Two-Week Break

Good news, soccer fanatics! The English Premier League will resume their play-offs in England this weekend after a two-week holiday.

First up on a jam-packed Saturday, 1 April, Manchester City will be hosting Liverpool at Etihad Stadium in Manchester. Predictions favour the Citizens. The north end of the stadium has also recently been scheduled for an upgrade worth £300 million.

Later the same day, Bournemouth and Fulham will be going head-to-head at Vitality Stadium in Dorset. The teams appear to be evenly matched, despite Fulham playing without their prized striker, Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is serving a three-match ban for pushing a referee during a recent match with Man United.

On Sunday, 2 April, West Ham United will have a point to prove as they take on Southampton at London Stadium. Despite the odds being in their favour, Hammers manager David Moyes and his fellow coaches fear they will be let go if their team loses.

Manchester United and Newcastle will be facing off at St. James’ Park Stadium in Newcastle later in the afternoon. The odds are nearly even for the two teams, despite the Red Devil’s prime forward, Marcus Rashford, having only recently returned to the field after recovering from a toe injury.
