Galaxy Star Lands on Amakhosi’s Radar

TS Galaxy defensive midfielder, Bathusi Aubaas, has apparently caught the interest of Kaizer Chiefs.

Owing to a weak defence record in recent years – as well as losing Njabulo Blom to St Louis City last December – Chiefs are currently sitting in sixth place on the Premier Soccer League rankings with 24 points.

To strengthen their defensive play, the club are closely keeping tabs on Aubaas; per reports, the 27-year-old was initially spotted by Molefi Ntseki, Amakhosi’s head of scouting team and technical.

In addition to his current position, Aubaas can also play in centre-back, which is essential in preventing the opposition from creating goal-scoring opportunities – something which the Glamours Boys are in dire need of.

The transfer window is set to end on 31 January; between now and then, Chiefs could potentially (and successfully) negotiate with Galaxy over Aubaas’ signature … anything could happen in the next eight days!
