Harry Kane Issued Ultimatum Amid Transfer Rumours

Things have come to a head at Tottenham Hotspur as chairman Daniel Levy takes action regarding the swirling transfer rumours surrounding Harry Kane.

Reports on Monday, 24 July, claim that Spurs management and new coach Ange Postecoglou have both pressured Levy to provide the 29-year-old striker with an ultimatum, despite Spurs playing it cool and showing no intention to sell the talented footballer before his last 12 months with the club expire.

Meanwhile, Spurs forward, Son Heung-min, answered reporters on the same day, saying: “We just have to wait. The decision will be between the club and Harry, and we have to respect it.”

Several clubs have set their sights on Kane, including Manchester United, but they pulled out after seeing his alleged £100-million price-tag. However, Bayern Munich are adamant on securing the goalscorer’s services before the 2023/24 season begins.

While the actual contract value is unknown, what is for certain is that the north London team refuse to let Kane walk away a free agent, but a final decision is expected before the transfer window closes.
