It’s a Boy for Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels

Erica Mena and Safaree Samuels have welcomed their second child together, just one month after Mena filed for divorce.

The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star married the rapper in October 2019, and gave birth to their daughter, Safire, last February.

However, Mena filed for divorce on 21 May at the Fayette County Superior Court in Fayetteville, Georgia, just three weeks after announcing that they were expecting their second child.

Now, their second bundle of joy is officially here – on Monday, 28 June, Samuels revealed the news on Instagram by sharing a photo of him holding the baby, whose face is blocked by a blanket.

In the caption, the “Parasites” hitmaker wrote: “MR Straittt Jr is here!! [sic]”

Although the name was not officially confirmed, the caption is a reference to the rapper’s 2020 album, “Straitt”.

Despite their ongoing legal drama – which includes Mena and Safaree battling for custody over their children – they will surely put it aside for now as they focus their energies on their newborn son.
