Khutso Theledi Celebrates Lobola in Style

Radio personality Khutso Theledi is making sure her Italian fiancé respects South African traditions as the two took part in a lobola ceremony over the weekend.

The 32-year-old Metro FM presenter shared the colourful photographs of the special day, via Instagram on Sunday, 3 December, with fans flooding her comments with well wishes and positive words.

“Thank you all for the overwhelming love, beautiful messages and heartfelt congratulations,” she said emotionally before adding: “Wamina and I are deeply touched by your kind words and warm wishes. Our hearts are truly filled with gratitude.”

The elaborate ceremony took place just a few months after the couple enjoyed a romantic getaway in Italy, the home of Theledi’s mysterious partner.

While Theledi usually keeps her life private, she’s shared a few key moments from their long-term relationship, including the moment they got engaged earlier this year in April, at Anantara Bazaruto Island Resort in Mozambique.

The pair haven’t revealed whether or not they will partake in a Westernised wedding ceremony but if they do, you can believe they’ll make sure it’s a special occasion!
