Leicester Set New Unwanted Record

Leicester City have sunk to new lows after their defeat last night, Monday 7 April, at the hands of Newcastle United, becoming the first Premier League team to lose eight English Premier League (EPL) games in a row without scoring a single goal.
Newcastle scored two goals within the first 11 minutes, ultimately defeating the Foxes 3-0 at the King Power Stadium in Leicester, England.
This loss leaves Leicester at the bottom of the EPL log, above already-relegated Southampton.
Head coach, Ruud van Nistelrooy, said: “We lost another game starting with the best intentions. We lost another early goal. It’s very disappointing and worrying.”
Leicester will be relegated if 17th-placed Wolverhampton Wanderers win their next two games, or if the Foxes lose their next two.
Meanwhile, Newcastle boosted their UEFA Champions League qualification chances with their win.
