Liverpool Receives Major Offer for Salah
The world is Mohamed Salah’s oyster, but where he ultimately chooses to go is anyone’s guess, especially after Saudi Pro League (SPL) giants, Al-Ittihad Club, flashed their cash for his signature.
According to reports, the Tigers have made a “huge offer” for the 31-year-old forward – however, he is still bound to Liverpool until 2025. An initial offer of £155 million was rejected, but the SPL outfit is apparently adamant about securing Salah as they have put more money on the table.
The Egyptian international is said to be considering the move to King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia, but the Reds are unlikely to offload Jurgen Klopp’s most reliable goalscorer as team-mates, Fabinho and Jordan Henderson, have already departed Anfield for other Saudi teams.
Salah scored 30 goals across all competitions during the 2022/23 season, so Liverpool are well within their rights to hold out for a lucrative signing.
The main question is: what will it take to lure the footballing superstar away from his dedicated commitment to Merseyside?
