Man United Advances on Transfer Talks for Camavinga
Manchester United are reportedly close to sealing a deal with Ligue 1 side, Rennes, for 18-year-old midfielder, Eduardo Camavinga.
Camavinga’s contract is set to expire in the next few months, therefore, Rennes would rather sell him now for €30m before he becomes a free agent.
Despite not featuring in the current EURO 2020 tournament, the French starlet has been selected to participate in this month’s Tokyo Olympics.
He remains the youngest player called into a France senior squad since 1932.
United, who just secured the services of England winger, Jadon Sancho, are still trying to bolster Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s squad for the next season, and Camavinga seems to be the next target.
The Red Devils have been eyeing the midfielder for a long time and are now reportedly leading the pack for the three-cap French international’s signature ahead of Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal.
