Nasty C Lifts Lids on Retirement Plans
Nasty C is at the top of his game right now – surprisingly, however, he doesn’t plan on rapping for long.
In an episode of his podcast, “Zulu Man With Some Power” – which premiered on YouTube on Wednesday, 7 April – the 24-year-old MC was asked by his guest, Sizwe Dlomo, about how long he planned to rap.
Nasty C answered: “Not that long, bro, I’m not rapping in my 40s. Not even 36. I think 35, I draw the line … I’ll go out like a legend.”
The “All In” hitmaker – real name David Junior Ngcobo – explained that he would like to extend his reach into digital technology. Additionally, he would continue penning lyrics for other music artists.
Of course, fans were a little morose about his retirement plans. One YouTube user commented: “Yoh [sic] hope you never retire… but your music is forever … your success and determination will be the moral of my works.”
Another wrote: “We want music till his 50 or 60 … Just imagine those years without nasty c’s joints [sic].”
Here’s hoping Nasty C will stick around for longer!
