Nothemba Madumo Joins Radio 702, CapeTalk

Hot on the heels of her Metro FM departure, Nothemba Madumo is ready to embark on the next chapter of her life.

Several days ago, Madumo – who joined Metro FM in 2008, and was hosting the popular “Urban Jazz Experience” evening slot on Sunday nights – announced that she was leaving the Johannesburg-based radio station.

Now, the presenter is taking her show to not one, but TWO Primedia Broadcasting stations: Radio 702 and CapeTalk. She will be hosting a jazz music slot, which will run simultaneously on both stations, from 6PM to 9PM every Sunday.

“I am thrilled to embark on this exciting journey with 702 and CapeTalk, and to share the vibrant world of jazz music,” Madumo said in a statement released by Primedia Broadcasting earlier this week.

“I look forward to immersing ourselves in the endless possibilities of jazz, where every tune is a journey and every listener a fellow adventurer … Jazz emerges as the golden thread connecting diverse souls, defying boundaries, transcending linguistic barriers and cultural confines to resonate with the essence of humanity.”

Madumo will be making her debut on Sunday, 7 April, so mark your calendars, folks!
