Post Malone Donates Crocs to Health Workers
Post Malone is giving back to hospital workers who are battling the tide against coronavirus (COVID-19).
The 25-year-old rapper partnered up with non-profit organisation, Musicians On Call, to donate 10 000 pairs of his sold-out line of Crocs footwear, “Duet Max Clog II”, to staff members at 70 American hospitals.
The Musicians On Call’s mission is to “bring live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities”; now, they are helping to deliver the popular shoes – which sold out last month – to those on the frontline making a difference to patients suffering from COVID-19.
Maloner also personally gifted pupils at his old school, Grapevine High School, with a pair of crocs each.
Alex Fingers, the principal of the school, took to Twitter to thank the “Congratulations” hitmaker for the generous donation.
In photos of the children with their gifts, Fingers captioned: “Thank you @PostMalone [sic] for always giving back to your community! Your fellow @Grapevine_HS Mustangs [sic] are so proud of your success!”
