Rami Chuene Weds in Secret Ceremony

Actress Rami Chuene is a married woman after getting hitched in secret over this past weekend.

It all started last Wednesday, 22 September, when the 45-year-old “Isono” posted a tweet that read: “I’m going to a wedding this weekend. I have a dress that came with a matching men’s top.”

Chuene said no more on the matter until today, Monday 27 September, when she posted a photo of herself looking stunning in a decadent white wedding dress and veil while holding a bouquet of flowers.

In the caption, she simply wrote: “I also attended a wedding this long weekend.”

Chuene was previously married to actor Tsepo Desando until they got divorced in 2013.

Although she didn’t divulge any details about the wedding’s location nor her new partner’s identity, elated fans sent in their congratulations. One wrote on Twitter: “Honestly, Rami deserves everything great coming her way. Congratulations to her.”

Celebrity friend, songstress Judith Sephuma, also wrote: “It was an amazing private affair, I’m glad we will have a bigger, better, huge one later I can’t wait for the world to my brother in law [sic].”
