Richards Bay Topple Royal AM 1-0

Richards Bay FC has moved to the top of the Premier League Soccer (PSL) table after beating Royal AM 1-0 on Tuesday, 6 September.

Taking place at Chatsworth Stadium in Durban, the match saw Luvuyo Memela – who was recently unveiled as Richards Bay’s latest signing – scoring the sole goal of the afternoon in the 27th minute.

Royal retaliated with a tight defence for the rest of the game – as well as taking possession of the ball for the most part – though the same could not be said for scoring any goals of their own.

Ultimately, the Natal Rich Boys emerged with a 1-0 victory over Thwihli Thwahla, which has propelled them to first place on the PSL rankings with 13 points.
