Ronaldo Reaches 500 League Goals
Cristiano Ronaldo found the back of the net to prove he’s still got it, as he reached yet another milestone during Al Nassr’s 4-0 win over Al Wehda on Thursday night, 9 February.
The Saudi Pro League (SPL) match saw the 38-year-old football superstar score all of his side’s goals, making the crowd at the King Abdul Aziz Stadium roar at the 21st, 40th, 53rd and 61st minute-marks, respectively.
To add to the glorious spectacle, CR7 has now punted 503 league goals for five different clubs across five different league competitions. It’s an incredible feat that is surely welcome after a wobbly start with his new employers.
His empathic effort has put Al Nassr at the top of the SPL table, tied with Al-Shabab with 37 points and three ahead of Al-Ittihad with 34 points.
Ronaldo joined the SPL top-flight club for a salary of £177 million in December after an acrimonious exit from Manchester United a month earlier.
