Ronaldo Wants Real Madrid Return
Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, reportedly wants to return to Real Madrid – albeit on one condition.
The 36-year-old Portuguese superstar joined the Bianconeri from the Spanish champions in 2018 after completing a €100 million transfer. However, amid their worsening financial situation, the Italian club is apparently considering offloading their highest-paid player.
Additionally, Ronaldo has been hit with criticism from Juve fans for being unable to deliver the goods – specifically, in the form UEFA Champions League silverware.
As a result, he wants to make the move back to Real Madrid, but only if Zinedine Zidane – who has coached him to success during his Real tenure – remains in charge of the club.
Zidane’s position as the coach of Los Blancos has come under the spotlight in recent months, what with his team’s recent poor form on the pitch, as well as being at odds with the club’s top brass over some of his transfer decisions.
Time will tell if Ronaldo will make the transfer move, and if he and Zidane will be reunited.
