Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Girlfriend Arrested on Domestic Violence Charges

Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine’s girlfriend, Jade, was arrested early on Monday morning, 29 August, after supposedly taking a swing at the musician.

The couple were seen enjoying themselves at an upscale Greek restaurant in Miami, Florida, before they began a “verbal argument”, which is said to have ended with Jade – real name Rachel Wattley – punching the rapper.

After the two were escorted from the restaurant, a nearby off-duty police officer intervened as a crowd grew around them. The incident outside was caught on tape.

The 26-year-old musician reportedly told the officer that he had been assaulted and was backed up by an on-scene security guard.

As for Jade, the 25-year-old Instagram influencer is currently being held at Miami-Dade County Jail for misdemeanour battery, on a $1 500 bail. However, in an unexpected twist of events, the “Trollz” rapper is reportedly attempting to bail his lady out.

6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, soon spoke with an international entertainment publication, saying: “I’m gonna get her out of jail. She attacked me in front of the police. I told them, ‘You have to evaluate her, she’s obviously under the influence.’

“I don’t plan to press charges … I’m the one trying to bail her out.”
