Wednesday Gaming – Diablo 4 Trading, Genshin Impact, Twitch Ban and MORE!
Catch up on the latest news, rumours and announcements from the world of video games, tech and entertainment:
– The trading system in “Diablo 4” has been suspended indefinitely by Blizzard Games, due to a glitch in the game which players have been exploiting in order to duplicate gold and items. Players who continue to exploit this glitch while devs work on the issue “will be actioned in accordance with our End User Licence Agreement.”
– According to its game specs, the upcoming 4.0 update for “Genshin Impact” – which marks the debut of the Hydro region, Fontaine – is as big as 32GB. This has caused consternation among players, particularly mobile-users, who may be forced to uninstall other gaming content just to make room for the update.
– Berry, a popular Twitch streamer and dancer, has been suspended from the platform for allegedly violating their community guidelines. This is the third such time she has been banned from Twitch: she was suspended last February over a video in which she was seen dancing in leggings and a sports bra, while using handcuffs as a prop. Details behind this latest suspension are scarce.
– In honour of its 30th anniversary, “Super Mario Bros.”, the first cinematic adaptation of the video game franchise, will be re-released in 4K resolution in Japanese cinemas on 15 September 2023.
