Wednesday Gaming – Elden Ring DLC Trailer, MultiVersus and MORE!

Catch up on the latest news, rumours and announcements from the world of video games, tech and entertainment:

– The DLC story trailer for “Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree” has been released, and it focuses on Empyrean Miquella, introduces a new antagonist called Messmer the Impaler, and shows glimpses of a brand new map called the “Lands of Shadow”. The DLC is scheduled to release on 21 June 2024. 

– Two more playable characters have been added to the “Multiversus” roster ahead of its 28 May release: Jason Voorhees from the “Friday the 13th” franchise, and Agent Smith from “The Matrix” movie series. 

– Additionally, returning “MultiVersus” players who previously participated in the Open Beta will get the Season 1 Battle Pass for free if they log in by 11 June, plus they will gain Jason Voorhees as their first reward.

– As for Open Beta players who return to “MultiVersus” at any point, they will receive a special edition Snow Suit Finn commemorative character variant, a special edition Rising Stars ringout, and a special edition Banana Guard announcer pack.   

– Korean developer, Shift Up, says that it’s looking into releasing a PC version of their 2024 offering, “Stellar Blade”, which is currently exclusive to the PS5.
