Wednesday Gaming – Mario’s Voice Actor Retires, Killer Klowns, Fortnite and MORE!

– After 27 years of lending his voice to Mario, Luigi and other Nintendo characters across a wide range of video game titles, Charles Martinet “will be stepping back from recording character voices for our games”, according to the Japanese game developer.
– Martinet will now take up the role as a “Mario ambassador”, which will see the 67-year-old travelling the world and interacting with fans so that he can continue “sharing the joy of Mario.”
– After being handed off by Good Shepherd Entertainment, the upcoming multi-player horror title, “Killer Klowns from Outer Space: The Game”, will now be co-developed and published by IllFonic, a US game developer best known for their work on “Friday the 13th: The Game” and “Predator: Hunting Grounds”.
– Epic Games has teased several hints about its upcoming “Fortnite” Chapter 4 Season 4 theme. As part of their promotion strategy, these hints – such as images of a new Battle Pass skin for a character named Diamond Dealer, a new POI and a blood moon eclipse – have been shared with content creators, who subsequently posted these on various social media platforms.
– A film adaptation of the popular sandbox game, “Slime Rancher”, is currently in the pipeline. Monomi Park, the developer of the game, is partnering with the Story Kitchen media company to create the film.
