Wednesday Gaming – Xbox Live Outage, Resident Evil, Sims 4 and MORE!

– An issue that prevented users worldwide from accessing Xbox Live servers for several hours on Tuesday, 2 July, has been resolved by Microsoft. The cause behind the outage has yet to be disclosed.
– Game director Koshi Nakanishi says that Capcom is developing a new “Resident Evil” title. However, Nakanishi did not confirm if it is actually “Resident Evil 9” or a spin-off entry in the franchise.
– A new “Lovestruck” expansion pack is coming to “The Sims 4” on 25 July 2024. It includes a new neighbourhood called Ciudad Enamorada; dating apps for your Sims; a new Attraction system that incorporates Turn-ons and Turn-offs; and the option for open relationships, among other brand new features.
– For what it’s worth, American film director Zach Snyder has hinted that the “Snyder Cut” version of “Justice League” – which was released on HBO Max in 2021 – may be getting a theatrical release in the near future.
