Wu-Tang Clan Announce Final Tour, Hint at Possible Break-Up

Legendary hip-hop group, Wu-Tang Clan, have announced what is being billed as their final tour, sparking speculation about their future.

The “Wu-Tang Forever: The Final Chamber” tour will begin on 6 June in Baltimore, Maryland, and conclude on 18 July in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, covering 27 cities across North America. The group will be joined by hip-hop duo, Run the Jewels, as their supporting act.

While the tour is currently limited to North America, de facto leader RZA has hinted at additional worldwide dates, suggesting this could be their last chance to perform together on a global stage.

“This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music and culture,” he said in a press release.

Formed in New York in 1992, Wu-Tang Clan are widely regarded as one of the most influential hip-hop groups of all time. Their debut album, “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)”, revolutionised the genre, followed by a string of critically acclaimed projects.

Despite internal tensions, and the loss of rapper and founding member Ol’ Dirty Bastard in 2004, they remained a dominant force in music.

With no confirmation on whether this marks the group’s official end, fans are left wondering if this is truly the final chapter of the Wu-Tang legacy.
