AmaZulu Sign Elmo Kambindu

AmaZulu FC have acquired a new player in the form of Elmo Kambindu.

In a statement posted on Tuesday, 14 January, the Durban-based outfit confirmed the following:

“AmaZulu Football Club has announced the signing of Namibian international forward, Elmo Kambindu, from Betway Premiership side Chippa United. The acquisition aims to strengthen the squad during the January FIFA transfer window.”

Details regarding the 31-year-old forward’s salary and length of contract are unknown.

As aforementioned, Kambindu previously played for Chippa, where he joined in 2022 and contributed five goals in 43 appearances across all competitions.

“I’m happy to be here and excited to score more goals with the team. The support I’ve received since my arrival has been incredible,” said Kambindu regarding his move to Usuthu. “To the fans, I encourage you to show up in numbers to support us, and we’ll deliver on the field.”
