Celeb Twitter Round-Up: SK Khoza Shares Abuse Claims

One thing about Mzansi celebs: there’s always someone doing someone else dirty; but this time social media was lit up by claims from Sthembiso “SK” Khoza that he had suffered abuse from his fiance, Choice Kate Mathebula.

The 36-year-old “Black Door” actor took to Instagram Live on Tuesday, 30 May, to share the details of the alleged incident that happened in England, while recovering in a hospital bed.

While showing off bruises and scratches, including a bandaged hand, he emotionally explained how Mathebula assaulted him with various kitchen items.

In the now-deleted video, he said: “My fiancée almost killed me … Choice Kate Mathebula beat me, I have injuries all over my body right now.”

As to be expected, there were Twitter folks who immediately called for Mathebula to be arrested for gender-based violence (GBV):

However, another video surfaced showing Khoza being patched up by a paramedic while audio plays in the background, which has Mathebule demanding he leave her house – allegedly after he said something disparaging about her daughter.

Some users (such as @Slebzed) sided with the agitated mother, saying she was right to protect her child:
