Champions League Returns TONIGHT
The UEFA Champions League knockout stages will start with a bang tonight, Tuesday 13 February, as four teams get ready to claim their spot in the elite competition.
First up will be Manchester City and FC Copenhagen going head-to-head. Despite the Danish champions hosting the match at Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark, predictions strongly favour last year’s winners, Man City, to walk away as the victors once again.
With forward Erling Haaland – who was the competition’s top scorer last season – on the Citizen’s side, Copenhagen will need to carefully evaluate their strategy if they want to hold any ground against the visitors.
At the same time just a hop, skip, and jump away, Real Madrid will also be testing their strength against RB Leipzig at Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, Germany. Pundits believe this will be a closer match between the two sides.
Real Madrid – who are currently at the top of the La Liga table – have only lost one of the last 15 UEFA Champions League matches against their German counterparts. However, it’s clear their hosts won’t be going down without a fight.
Don’t miss a moment of the drama as the Champions League returns!
