Davido Claims His Wealth Comes from Divine Blessings

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has asserted that his wealth is not a product of investment but as a result of divine providence.

The 31-year-old singer – whose real name is David Adeleke – made this declaration in a video shared via Instagram by his friend, Cubana Chief Priest, on Sunday, 23 March.

In the viral clip, Davido was seen relaxing in a luxurious private jet, rumoured to be a recent acquisition, when he confidently stated that his type of wealth could not be attained through sound financial decisions.

“It can only be obtained through God’s blessings,” he added confidently.

The musician – who is the son of Nigerian billionaire businessman Deji Adeleke – has often faced speculation about the origins of his fortune. While some credit his music career and record label, others argue that his family’s wealth has significantly contributed to his financial standing.

Despite the ongoing debate, Davido remains firm in his belief that his success transcends business acumen reinforcing the idea that spiritual boons play a crucial role in his wealth.
