Doja Cat is Coming to SA!

Doja Cat is set to perform at the Hey Neighbour music festival in South Africa later this year.
On Thursday, 27 March, the event organisers announced in an Instagram post that the “Say So” songstress will be one of the headlining acts at the three-day festival, which will take place on 29-31 August at Legends Adventure Farm in Pretoria, Gauteng.
“We are beyond excited to welcome Doja Cat to the Hey Neighbour festival stage,” said festival CEO, Glen Netshipise, in a subsequent statement. “Her energy, creativity and ability to connect with audiences on a global scale make her the perfect artist to kick off what will be an epic festival line-up.
“This is just the beginning – we have more incredible acts to reveal soon.”
This will mark the first time that Doja Cat – real name Amala Dlamini – is visiting Mzansi. The daughter of veteran South African actor, Dumisani Dlamini, the 29-year-old “Woman” hitmaker was born and raised in the United States of America.
Here’s hoping Doja Cat will feel right at home when she lands on African soil in August!
